Kyzyl Hotel

Kyzyl, Russia

The Brief: Submit grand designs for an uber-luxurious hotel in Siberia.

The Challenge: Focus on absolute luxury without bordering on kitsch.

The Project: We were asked to redesign plans for a Russian hotel, making it one of the most luxurious in the region. We took inspiration from some of Paris’ and Rome’s grand designs and created a 146-bedroom hotel architecture design. Striking arched windows with illuminated column posts pay homage to Rome’s Colosseum, while a stunning, asymmetrical spiral staircase takes full attention on the ground floor.

Two glamorous penthouses, with all the amenities you can imagine, make up the top floor of the hotel, each with their own helipads. Even the smallest hotel room is a minimum of 30sqm. The hotel architecture design has an abundance of facilities including a three-floor bar, a stylish restaurant and a plush spa with far-reaching views across the river.

The result is glamorous hotel architecture, designed to the highest specs.
