The Brief: Create a fresh, new look using IVAR’s brand identity in the office building interior design.
The Challenge: Create an office identity for the firm and complete the office building interior design while the employees remain at their desks.
The Project: We’d worked with IVAR before – a producer of heating and plumbing systems – so had a good grasp as to the nuts and bolts of the company. This allowed us to create a design based on the brand’s identity, otherwise known as brand DNA; the unique characteristics that make up the firm. Our office building interior design ideas focused on IVAR’s shapes, materials and logo colour, a vibrant orangey-red and white, mixed with grey for their metal products.
We went full steam ahead with a sleek, modern design, using bold lines and brilliant white ceiling lights. Bespoke desks are a mix of shapes, symbolising the firm’s own range of diverse products. Individual red chairs make an impact in the offices, as does the sleek reception area with a brilliant red hallway designed to capture people’s imagination with ‘what’s through there?’
We completed the office building interior design on two floors, finishing one at a time. This allowed the staff to relocate to the alternate floor to minimise interruption to their work.
The result is a very well-received head office that strikes up positive comments from visiting guests and employees.
