Dolomites House

Madonna di Campiglio, Italy

The Brief: Restyle a 1970’s apartment and bring more light inside.

The Challenge: Work to a low budget.

The Project: With a small budget for the apartment interior design, we had to select the most important criteria over the least. The main concern was making the flat look brighter so we removed the carpets, laid down light wooden floorboards and painted the walls white.

Due to budget restraints, we reused some of the old furniture and added other pieces with the same finish to connect it all. We placed a dining table and benches in a small alcove, positioned so the family could enjoy the view of the Dolomites.

The result is an apartment interior design project that kept to the budget and enhanced the living space.
