The Brief: Design a trade fair stand which can be reused at other events.
The Challenge: To represent the core business of the company while making it inviting for people to pop into.
The Project: Standing out from the crowd at a trade fair is imperative. And that’s just what we did for IVAR. The stand had to showcase IVAR’s products – energy-efficient heating and plumbing systems – in a way that people would stop by and chat. We decided the best way was to make a temporary structure design and install a cafe and an exhibition area. We divided the stand into two sections, with the cafe at the rear, so people would have to walk past the products to reach the refreshments.
We also had to be creative because the exhibition hall’s rules stated that no solid walls were allowed. So instead, we created a vertical garden wall, made of cubes (the firm’s logo) with plants sitting in each square. The latest products were displayed in an enticing display to attract potential clients and we created areas for the audio-visual screens in the modern-style stand.
The result was a highly successful event which drew in new sales and contacts, as well as a temporary structure design to be used at future fairs.
